Our Role & Legal Authority
The Ozark Advertising & Promotions Commission promotes tourism, encourages visitors, and supports economic activity associated with Ozark and its surrounding area.
Under Arkansas Code § 26-75-606, the Commission determines the use of the City's Advertising & Promotion Fund, within the purposes and limitations established by law.
Authorized purposes include promoting Ozark and its environs, supporting qualifying tourism facilities and activities, and investing in eligible cultural and recreational projects.
A&P revenues are restricted public funds. They may not be used for general city or county operations, general capital improvements, or unrestricted subsidies to civic organizations.
Our responsibility is to make tourism-related investments that strengthen Ozark while maintaining sound stewardship of public revenue.
